Fly Tying
The fly tying classes are designed for beginning fly tiers as well as experienced fly tiers.
There will be members of the club at the class that may assist you in learning how to tie the flies.
AFC will supply all the materials and equipment needed to tie the flies.
The classes will be at the Arizona Italian club in the room behind the bar.
The classes will start at 7 PM.

The fly casting class is open to all members, whether you are have never cast a fly rod or would like to improve your casting skills.
There will be FFI certified fly casting instructors there to work with you.
Please bring a 5 or 6 weight 9 foot fly rod with floating line and an 0X 7 1/2 foot tapered leader. AFC will have fly rods and reels available for you to use.
For safety, bring a hat, sunglasses and water.
There will be FFI certified fly casting instructors there to work with you. The instructors will work with beginner fly casters as well as some of us that can use a FFI certified instructor’s guidance to improve our casting.
Please read the document IMPROVING YOUR FLY CASTING. It can be found by opening the Education tab and then opening the FLY CASTING folder, next pressing the green down arrow to open the document.
We meet just south of the North East corner of the park. Look for the AFC flag
