Take advantage of everything the club has to offer. For a small fee of $35, you are becoming a member of a very nice club. If you like food and fishing this is the place for you.
Learn how to cast your fly rod. Learn a double hall cast, a roll cast, and a bow and arrow cast for tight places. Come enjoy one of the clubs fly tying classes. The classes are designed to introduce students to the art of fly tying in a fun relaxed atmosphere. These classes are free to all members. All materials are furnished by the club. If you are new to tying, come down and learn how to use some of the various tools. If you are a seasoned tier, volunteer to teach a class.
Take advantage of the outings the club has. The club has one outing per month. Some trips are local, some are to the high country, and some are out of state. The club usually has several opportunities to volunteer and demonstrate some aspect on fly fishing to the general public. This could include a fly tying demonstration, or fly casting lesson.
