Where can you go over the Memorial Day weekend that you don’t have to fight the
holiday crowds? The answer is Hawley Lake. The club has reserved the group campground
at Hawley Lake for the Memorial Day weekend of May 23rd –26th for club
members and their immediate family exclusively. Hawley Lake is a beautiful lake at
approximately 9000 ft elevation on the White Mountain Apache Reservation and as an
added bonus Earl Park is just up the road. The Tribe provides all essential
amenities, i.e. port o potties, trash dumpsters and potable water.
On Saturday, the club provides steak, grilled to your liking, and potatoes
and you provide a side dish or dessert.
Also on Sunday morning, there is a SUPERB pancake and sausage breakfast by our very own chef, Cliff
DeVlieg. The price is $65.00 for one person and $85.00 for two which includes your dinner and permits for
the weekend. Additional family members are $20.00 each.
Your last chance to sign up and pay for this priceless weekend will be May 8th at the General Meeting. This
is an outing you don’t want to miss! If you are unable to attend the meeting and want to go, please contact
Phil Wagner at 602-909-3799 or any board member.
