2007 Ed Adams
Fellowship Awards
Ed Adams was a founding member of
the Arizona Flycasters Club and past president. Ed, now deceased,
exemplified the ultimate member, as he was involved in all aspects of
the club’s activities. In his honor a patch is awarded to any
member who accumulates points. Point values are based on the type of
activity performed. Examples are attendance at the general meeting = 3
points, outings = 10, class attendance = 5, class instructors = 10, board
meetings = 10, donations = 5--20 depending on value, and additional points
for many other activities that support the club. Any member who
accumulates at least 100 points within a calendar year is awarded a
fellowship patch at the annual banquet. Any member that accumulates 300
points will receive a patch with a gold border. These patches can
be attached to fishing vest and worn as a sign of
dedication
to our club.

In addition to the Ed Adams patches a
“rocker” patch is awarded for those who have received an Ed Adams patch
for at least 5, 10 or 15 years.

be attached below the Ed Adams patch to indicate the time period that
the Ed Adams patch has been awarded.
