The Arizona Flycasters Club established a scholarship endowment with the Northern Arizona University Biological Sciences Department.

The ARIZONA FLYCASTERS CLUB (AFC) is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to
the promotion, preservation and improvement of fly-fishing. The Club
conducts classes in fly-casting, fly tying, rod building, net building and fishing
tactics.
The Arizona Flycasters
Club provides college scholarships and financial and logistical
support to conservation and education projects. The
club’s activities encourage sportsmanship, skill
development and good citizenship.
The Club is affiliated
with the Federation of Flyfishers (FFF), an international
organization for fly fishers.
Monthly fishing outings
to various local, state and regional destinations
allow us to enjoy our wonderful natural resources
with friendly people.
Monthly meetings,
are open to the public, and include featured speakers and
presentations on fly fishing topics.
Currently, our meetings are held at 7:00 PM the second Thursday of each month at Devonshire Community Center located at 2802 E. Devonshire (one block north of Indian School Road on 28th Street) You are invited to join us. Watch this website for future changes in our meeting location.
Attention Campers! Enjoy a PRIME Camping Site Over the Memorial Day Weekend! The Hawley Lake Outing on Memorial Day weekend is coming up in a little over a month. If you are attending the Fish Fry on Saturday morning, bring your money and sign up for the outing. The cost of the outing is $65.00 for the first person and $20.00 for each additional family member. The fees cover the group camp ground rental, fishing permits and the steak dinner at the Saturday pot luck. If you are planning on attending the Hawley Lake outing, you need to sign up by the AFC Club meeting on May 8th. This is always a fun outing, so sign up early and beat the rush at the May meeting.

NEW LOCATION for ALL General Meetings until further notice!! Beginning in June, we will be relocating to: Devonshire Community Center located at 2802 E. Devonshire (one block north of Indian School Road on 28th Street) This is a temporary move as we are hopeful to be back at the Sunnyslope Community Center as soon as possible (September is the current target date).

Pre-Trip Meeting on Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m. at Cortez High School.
Free Classes for Members The club offers free classes to all members on Casting, Fly Tying, Rod Building, Net Building as well as seminars by nationally known experts.
