Dead Horse Ranch State Park Outing
February 10 – 12
Phil Koda, Outings Chair

Come one, come all, to our annual outing at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, February 10 through 12. Camp sites and cabins are still available. You can make online camp/cabin reservations at Arizona State Parks/Dead Horse Ranch State Park. We will be in the Quail Loop Campground. Make your reservation soon because this is a popular campground. If you can’t join us for the weekend, come up for a day trip.

Please let us know if you are coming by registering on Eventbrite. The park has three ponds, as well as the Verde River adjacent to the park, liberally stocked with trout throughout the winter. The ponds are fishable from shore or float tube, and the river provides a good moving water experience. To reach Dead

Horse, drive north on I-17 to Camp Verde, exit at Highway 260 and go west to Cottonwood. Turn left on

Highway 89A and drive about 1.5 miles. Watch for the Dead Horse signs and turn right into the park at 10th Street.
