Beginning in April 2011, AFC began the process of establishing a Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) program in Phoenix. For those not familiar with this, PHWFF is a national program dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military and veterans through fly fishing, fly tying, education and outings. What we are in need of are a few people that would help in the administration of this program, so that it does not fall on any one person’s shoulders.
We get a lot of help from the national organization and by working together we can make this a very successful and most importantly, a very worthy program here in Phoenix. Please do not hesitate to contact Roger Cahoon (AFC President) if you are interesting in helping with this exciting project.
